The glow plug in today's high performance diesel engine operates in an arduous environment having to withstand extremes of temperature and vibration. Correctly functioning glow plugs are essential if these engines are going to start consistently particularly in cold conditions.
Quality is key to meeting this requirement. FAI plugs are produced in a state-of-the-art factory in Western Europe and embody the latest dual coil technology which ensures that they reach their operating temperature quickly without compromising service life. Each plug is tested to operating temperature at the factory prior to despatch.
