Extreme Performance Parts
FAI will be launching the new performance brand "Extreme" at Race Retro the historic race show to be held at Stoneleigh near Coventry. You will be able to see our range of head gaskets, crankshafts and connecting rods. During the later part of 2009 we spent a lot of time and effort developing four MLS head gaskets for popular historic engines, they are:
- Lotus Twin cam (Unique Oil Feed/Return Design)
- Ford BDA/BDG (Floating Fire Ring)
- Ford Junior
- Ford FVA/FVC
These gaskets are made using stainless spring steel and our own rubber/silicon coating material. Each gasket is laser marked for identification and traceability. All head gaskets come with a technical bulletin and torque sequence data.
Other Extreme gaskets will be introduced in the near future.
Our crankshafts are suitable for Subaru EJ20 & 25 and Mitsubishi Evo 4G63 & 4G64. They have been manufactured to the highest standards using a single billet (EN40B steel) the crankshaft offers a significant weight saving less than the standard crankshaft and are available with our lightened and balanced connecting rods. The rods are balanced to a tolerance of +/- 1 gram and offer a weight saving of up to 45% compared to standard rods. Each rod comes complete with ARP2000 bolts.
